Pages 135 & 136: "The tombstones contain the names of many of the early families of both Newark and Elizabethtown.  Bodies from several Newark cemeteries were reburied in the Evergreen Cemetery when those graves had to be removed because of building and highway construction.  There also are special sections for the defunct Newark Orphan Asylum and the Home for Aged Women, Elizabeth."
