Evangelical and Reformed Historical Society

An email to Judy Brauns:

The Evangelical and Reformed Historical Society does not have the records of the church in question.  Neither of the two ministers mentioned (Lehlback and Schambach) appears on the rolls of German Reformed pastors  I suggest you try contacting the regional office of the Lutheran archives Lutheran Archives, Lutheran Theological Seminary Library, 7301 Germantown Rd., Philadelphia, PA  19119.  You might also, if you haven't already, try the following sources in New Jersey 1) New Jersey Historical Society, Library, 52 Park Place, Newark, NJ  07102 (973)-596-8500 ext. 249; 2) Newark Public Library, 5 Washington St., PO Box 630, Newark, NJ  07101-0630 (973)-733-7776; 3) New Jersey State Library, Genealogy Section, 185 West State St., Trenton, NJ  08625-0520  (609)-292-6274.  I am sorry we cannot be of more help.  If you do locate the records, would you please let me know so that I can make in our records?

Thanks.
