The Wickliffe Presbyterian
Church was organized on May 14, 1865. It began as a mission of the Third
Presbyterian Church. The mission building was dedicated on January 25, 1857. A
new church was built and occupied in April, 1889, at Thirteenth Avenue and Boston Street.
The church was dissolved due to "neighborhood conditions" on June 21,
1910, with the majority of the members transferring to the West Presbyterian Church.
The building was then taken over by the Thirteen Avenue (colored) Presbyterian
Church.
