| 3. Before WJZ phased out its Newark studio, it made every effort to lure stars of Broadway and vaudeville. For a time, it provided a limousine to fetch stars to its studio, and posted a uniformed doorman at the door of the factory. The WJZ studio by this time had moved to the first floor of the factory and the stars were welcomed by a greeter dressed in a tuxedo.
