Just got home from spending a few hours going around Newark and taking more photo's. There are two small stone markers in the far corner of Lincoln Park going toward Washington Street from Broad Street that I've been meaning to check out for the past several months. You can tell that there was once a marker on one of the stones, but like many others here in Newark, it is "MISSING." The other stone has a wonderful story on it which reads as follows: CEDAR TREES OF LEBANONPresented to the City Of Newark by the Lebanon American
Society of New Jersey on May 13, 1939 as a memorial to the American Soldiers who
made the Supreme Sacrifice in the Cause of Liberty in the World War.
