1. Although Vic Brown was owner/operator/manager, three other Newarkers had small investments in the enterprise: Carl Schwartz, who owned Schwartz & Nagle, a Fisk tire store, in Newark; Charles Borinsky of Tuscan Diary Farms, and William J. Egan, a former Newark City Commissioner and a figure prominent in Newark and New Jersey politics.
