Millman's & Sabin's

Whenever anyone "felt" like a hot dog we'd head for Millman's or Sabin's - there'd always be a discussion over whose we like best. I preferred Millman's --It was never too late at night to go down to Weequahic Park for a hot dog- either just the guys or even a date. We had a large Athletic Club called the ABBOTS - we had our clubhouse across from Weequahic H. S. We all hung out there - everyone chipped in for the rent -- and most of us are still in touch - if not regularly , at least once or twice a year. If we didn't hang there, we were at the Rose's or the Lepore's hanging out.
