Fire Department Deaths & Causalities:

Engine Company No. 4 – George Denman, driver of hose cart, sustained a compound fracture of the right ankle by forward axle breaking while bringing a load of hose to hose depot December 13th, from fire in Eighth Avenue, he is still confined to the house from this accident.
